General
Description
The Carver 390 cockpit MY
is a cockpit version of Carver's very popular 355/356 Motor Yacht. Aside from
the versatility that a cockpit provides (they make great dive or fishing platforms
and boarding is a lot less hassle), the extra length usually adds a knot or two
to the speed while at the same time improving her overall profile. Like her smaller
sistership, the interior is surprisingly complete and includes two heads, a roomy
galley, full dinette, and double berths in both staterooms. The
layout certainly delivers on its promise of big boat accommodations. The salon
is open and surprisingly spacious. Additional features include attractive light
oak interior woodwork, relatively wide sidedecks, and a well arranged flybridge
with plenty of guest seating. Standard gas engines will cruise the Carver at 17
knots.
