General
Description
This
is a 1964 47' Kettenberg Motor Sailer with a custom
cabin design. The hull and beams are mostly oak and
teak with mahogany decks and rails. This is hull
#4 of 47 built with it's 7000 lb. lead keel
and solid design, she is a cruisers dream. It has
a 74' mast, 800 gallon fuel tank and a Yanmar genset.
There are 6 berths that will sleep 7 guests, a large
main cabin, galley, bridge station and flying bridge
along with a forward and aft head.
Actual
Condition
There is some wood rot on the outboard starboard side
of the cabin and a little on the portside hull above
the waterline. Paint is peeling on the stern as seen
in the photos. Sails and rigging are reported to be
in good shape but will need new covers. This boat
requires someone that will provide the love that it's
previous owner of 30+ years has provided to her. She
would make an excellent "live
aboard" candidate or could be the start
of a sailing dream.
The owner reports that vessel is still tight as a
drum and her bilges are dry.
Equipment
Propane stove, refridge, sink, 400 gallons water tank,
some nav. and vhf radio equipment.
A
trailer is
not included
in this sale.
Motors
and Machinery
No statement of condition can
be made regarding motors, engines or machinery, whatsoever.
A photo may appear of the engine compartment and machinery,
but it is entirely the buyers responsibility to inspect
and determine their actual condition.
* On occasion
we receive unverified information regarding mechanical
condition. It is reported by the owner, not Certified
Sales, Inc. that: "The boat has a 90 hp. Dag
diesel that was reportedly rebuilt 4 years ago ."
