General Description
The Albin 36 remains a popular boat with those who enjoy the look and feel of a traditional trawler style yacht and the economy of single-screw propulsion. A handsome design with a classic trawler profile, her traditional two-stateroom, all teak interior is arranged with the galley in the salon along with a lower helm, two deck access doors, and an L-shaped convertible settee. Both fore and aft staterooms have private heads, and there's a tub/shower combination aft. Construction is solid fiberglass, and a full length skeg protects the running gear.

Topside, the fly bridge will seat six and comes with a fold -down mast and boom. Finished with an abundance of exterior bright work, the teak decks, rails, cabin top, doors, and hatches all add much to her appearance but require considerable maintenance. Additional features include a teak parquet cabin sole, a bow pulpit and a teak swim platform. A single 135-hp Lehman diesel (standard for many years) will cruise the albino 36 at 7.5 knots while burning only 3 gph.

Actual Condition

Interior - Most of the windows leak and have caused damage to some walls and hatch covers. The boat has lots of wood with varnish that should be removed and treated.
Exterior - Wood has not been maintained and needs work. Fiberglass needs a good cleaning. Worn seat cushions and covers. Prior owner added a battery charger and converter in a closed compartment that has little ventilation. It should be moved for better ventilation. Compartment has some water damage.
1 cracked window, broken sink faucet in forward head, some broken railing and locking latches, new rear storage compartment (lazarette) hatch cover needs to be attached (add latch and hinges). Canvas support rods attachment damaged from storm, fix mounting.
Overall good boat that needs extensive cosmetic work due to weather and lack of maintenance.
Boat is currently shrink wrapped.
