bold, aggressive profile of the Hatteras 38 Convertible
makes a successful blend of fishability and quality.
She was constructed on a modified V hull with balsa
coring in the hullsides, shallow keel and moderate
beam. She has a well arranged flybridge, wide sidedecks,
side dumping exhausts and bow pulpit.
There is
berthing for 6; this includes the master stateroom
with plenty of storage, guest bunks, and convertible
salon settee.
This 38'
Hatteras had an updated interior in 2005 to include
new countertops, carpet and curtains throughout the
boat. This boat is very well appointed. She is ready
to entertain with an installed flat screen TV and
updated Galley. The Full Galley spans the entire port
side of the Salon, and includes a stainless refrigerator
/ freezer, icemaker, 2-burner electric stove, and
microwave.
Actual
Condition
We have been told that some time prior to 2005, while
at its dock, the boat had water intrusion due to a
bad hose or thru hull fitting, not from storm damage.
The boat was repaired, used and sold. The current
owner has done extensive additional repairs and a
host of well appointed upgrades to bring this yacht
to yacht quality condition. NOW COMES THE BEST
PART! After all the upgrades over the years and
tens of thousands of dollars invested the current
owner must sell the yacht at a major financial loss
and discount. HIS LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! You are
welcome to have the yacht fully surveyed.
Additional
Note: The Gulf Coast has been the home for this yacht
for years. It has been reported that this yacht has
not been involved in damages due to hurricanes or
a storm related incidents.
