Description
The
Silverton 40 Convertible is fully equipped with everything
needed to go boating; the cockpit is large
enough for fishing or relaxing with friends.
Inside there is a large salon, fully equipped galley
with stove, oven, refrigerator, ice maker, microwave
oven, and sink. The large dinette table has seating
for four. The guest stateroom has two over and under
bunks and the master stateroom has a large queen sized
bed with changing area. The head offers a separate
shower, toilet and sink. This 40 Silverton should
be on your list if a "big" boat feel is
what you're looking for.
Actual Condition
During this past winter the
Yacht suffered an exterior fire when the Shrink Wrap
burnt when ignited by another adjacent boat fire.
Mostly superficial and some will just clean off, some
areas may need paint.

This boat
is in pretty nice shape overall, it's
very clean both on the inside and in the engine
room. She will require a good buff and exterior wax
to really shine. The boat was not used this previous
season due to the owners moving south. This two stateroom
boat feels like a much larger than 40 footer due to
it's spacious and bright interior. Owner wants the
boat sold, so come take a look and make an offer.

from Owner (4-27-11):
After talking to the owner the following was confirmed
by him; At the time of the boat being hauled for winter
storage the Motors and Generator were running. The units
were winterized,.
The Bimini
Enclosure is complete although not all the pieces
are on the boat. The Fridge, AC’s, Gen-Set were
operating. The boat had new Risers 5 years ago and
the boat has been out of the water for 2 years. The
Ice Maker did not work and he never had the Cockpit
Cover.
