General Description
The Bill Shaw designed Pearson 28 was the third generation of boats of this size and represented the very latest thinking in design, engineering, and owner preferences. 232 hulls of this model were popped from 1985 through 1988.

A quick glance at her 24.3' waterline length and 9'10" beam dimensions indicate just how spacious she is. The Pearson is truly an extremely accommodating 28 footer.

The challenge was to use this space to maximum advantage and this is where the Pearson design group carved out new territory. For example, there are two real double berths-one forward and another enclosed stateroom aft to port-they provide desirable privacy while the enclosed head is located further aft than seen at that time, using a wider part of the boat to best advantage.

Actual Condition
This vessel was stored on her trailer during a wind storm that caused the next boat to lean into her. There is scuffing to the hull and concerns of delamination to hull and keel joint. The trailer stands suffered bends and stress. She did not fall off the trailer or suffer any through hull damage. The unseen damage is the largest concern, she should be inspected carefully.
