Be On The Lookout For Component Parts

PLEASE FORWARD THIS STOLEN VESSEL ALERT TO ANY AND ALL INTERESTED PARTIES IN NEW ENGLAND






















On June 14, 2008 a 35-foot Fountain Lighting
(HIN: FGQ3S001607) was stolen from the property of an MMTA member location in Middleton, Massachusetts. 

The vessel was recovered on June 16, 2008 in the vicinity of the North Shore location at which a previously stolen 35' Scarab was recovered. Like the 35' Wellcraft Scarab stolen in April, the 35' Fountain, with an estimated value over $300,000, was stripped of major mechanical components.  Just a hull was recovered.   

Be Advised That The Following Component Serial Numbers Have Been Reported As Stolen:

Local police and the Commonwealth's Environmental Police Marine Theft Unit have been notified and have processed the recovered hull for evidence.  MA Marine Trades members and New England marine industry are urged to keep an eye out for the component parts of this vessel - engines, drives, assemblies -- as they may be offered individually for sale.
