37' Robertson & Caine 2010 - Sunsail 384 - YS180095
This is the kind of boat you can take anywhere in the world and have a comfortable home. She provides a good balance between performance, accommodation, safety, and practicality. The Cat is relatively light, thanks in part to vacuum-bagged and balsa-cored construction, giving it a light-ship displacement, combined with an easily managed total working sail area.
Twin-fixed keels and spade rudders allow owners to sail in water that is 4 feet deep, or to nose the Cat up on a beach, but they still allow superb maneuverability, upwind performance, and speed under sail. If you're looking for a well-designed Cat that will take care of you no matter where you cruise, the Leopard 38/Sunsail 384 may be just what you had in mind.
Nothing is weighing in the balance here with “PIPSEA”. She “shore” was a maneuverable boat when afloat. However, the grim storm of Maria got a hold of her. After getting a visual on her, here is what we've found:
She is equipped with a 4 stateroom and two heads. However she has sustained the following damages:
PORT DELAM MID SHIP
PORT FORWARD DECK AND SIDE AT BOW DAMAGED
SUSPECTED TO HAVE EITHER FLIPPED OVER ON LAND OR ANOTHER BOAT LANDED ON IT
KEELS ARE PUSHED UP THROUGH BOTTOM
LOTS OF GLASS DAMAGE
GALLY IS SALVAGIBLE
TRAMPOLINE SUPPORT; GOOD
As for the interior most of the hull was dry. The port and starboard engines were dry, no generator and main electrical panel is missing, AC missing, engine panels missing at helm and the fridge is questionable.
You can try to revive her or she may even be a great parts boat for another catamaran you'd purchased from us? Try your luck with her.
A trailer is not included in this sale.
