30' Pursuit 1999 - 3000 Express - YS200229
General Description
The Pursuit 3000 Express is one of Pursuit's most successful models. Designed for family cruising and fishing, she has a huge cockpit, lots of seating, a full-head with shower, compact galley and everything you need for those weekend getaways or serious fishing excursions!
Actual Condition
It is reported that this 30' Pursuit sank from rain water & some internal leak accumulation because the bilge pumps were not working due to "dead" batteries. The bulk of the water damage was to the cabin area. The water had not risen to the extent that the engines had gone under. The genset was partially submerged and does not run. The rudder posts appeared to have signs of minor leakage.
The water level in the cabin damaged the AC, reefer and the battery selector switches. After power was supplied to the boat the fwd and aft bilge pumps were found to be functional on both manual & auto. The majority of the wiring, pumps and junction boxes were above the flooded water line and not damaged. It was a hydraulic pump and the Genset that were submerged.
Please inspect carefully before making an offer. This is a great project boat and should provide many years of enjoyment once repairs are done.
